Overall Wedding Planning
- www.theknot.com - I used this site alot for listings of bridal gown designers, bridesmaid dresses, and the message boards. Word of warning: Don't take everything people say on here very seriously. You do not have to have china at your reception or spend 1500 dollars on your dress. There are some crazy brides out there. However, I did find a lot of useful information from the local message board. I found my awesome photographer there. Also, don't give out too much personal information. There are many vendors on the message boards that gather your information and spam you to death.
- www.weddingchannel.com - I did not use this site as much as the knot, but I found their listing of bridesmaid dresses to much more complete. I also plan on using their registry for The Bon. I think as I progress in my planning, I will use this more.
- www.ultimatewedding.com - You can list your wedding date and website on this site. They also have good information and message boards, but not nearly as good as theknot or weddingchannel.

Discount Bridal Gown Sites
- Pearl's Place - I have heard good things about Pearl's place. I did not actually use them, but they have great prices.
- RkBridal - I would have gone with RK Bridal if I had not bought my dress at a sample sale. They match prices and beat them by 5%. Bad thing is that you have to call for a quote.
- Wedding Expressions - I love the instant quotes on bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses.
- Netbride - Another discount place I have heard good things about.
- House of Brides - They are supposed to have good prices, but their website is so annoying. You will get tons of spam if you sign up for it, and I have heard some bad things about them. So just be careful.
- Bridal Bargains - First, GET THIS BOOK! Second, use their free bridal gown quote to get prices from DBS, Pearls, etc. Be careful, Pearls gave me a very different quote through this form then emailing them directly. So always double check prices.
- BrideSave.com - Another discount site with good reviews.

Favorite Bridesmaids Dresses
- After Six - They have some great styles for reasonable prices. I really like their selection of tea length dresses and colors. Beware their Dessy Collection is much more expensive.
- Mori Lee - Probably the best priced bridesmaid dresses out there. I found quite a few full length styles that are very nice and around $75.00.
- New Image - I love these dresses. I'm not sure about how reasonably priced they are, but they have some great styles that a bridesmaid could actually wear again.
